You will ensure that the correct tooling is used, Correct tooling is kitted, maintained, stored &amp; used. You will work in collaboration with the supervisors / machinists making recommendations to improve processes, standards &amp; safety. You will be responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity&apos;s EH&amp;S policies and procedures. Display TE’s core values and behaviours at all times. <br></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Long Description</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Support the day to day running of the machine shop to meet KPI’s.</li> <li>Liaise with other departments and managers when required.</li> <li>Ensure company procedures and policies are maintained.</li> <li>To ensure health and safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation are adhered to.</li> <li>To assist with and carry out training for apprentices and staff in development. </li> <li>Maintaining a clean, safe, organised shop environment, ensuring compliance with standard industrial guidelines, safety policies and procedures.</li> <li>Ordering new tools and equitpment as needed, verifying the requirements and the monitoring of tool repairs, servicing and maintenance.</li> <li>Managing inventory needs, preparing forecasts and reports of inventory, maintaining tools / equipment, performing order tracking and inventory control.</li> <li>When required, to carry out TEOA/KAISAN/5s Audit activities.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment while applying 5S+1 and TPM.</li> <li>To carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be requested from time to time. </li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><p>Requires a minimum of 4 years of related work experience within a Machine Shop.
