Job Overview Performs machine setups, programming, troubleshoots, and producing machine parts using a variety of CNC machines. Job Requirements Assisting supervisors in aligning the resources to specific needs in production, analyzing the critical metrics for the teams' performance, and reporting them to the management. Maintaining a clean, safe, organized shop environment, ensuring compliance with standard environmental health and safety policies and procedures. Preparing detailed numerical control programs used in the machines, setting up and operating EDM, and programming them. Implementing ways to reduce the setup time, identifying potential cost reductions, and recommending ways to improve the efficiency and quality of the product. What your background should look like Typically requires 2-5 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
