Determine the most suitable tooling manufacturing concepts related to the anticipated production quantities,</p> <p>quality requirements, and manufacturing location.</p> <p>§ Responsible for collaborating with global experts (CoE molding) to continuously update and improve operating standards</p> <p>regarding plastic injection molding.</p> <p>§ Collaborate in incorporating the latest technologies and trends in process design to maximize performance and efficiency.</p> <p>§ Responsible for providing budgets for new tools and mold processes.</p> <p>§ Ensure, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, that molds and processes are designed to produce high-quality</p> <p>products efficiently and effectively at the lowest possible cost.</p> <p>§ Responsible for coordinating and tracking engineering changes to injection molds.</p> <p>§ Coordinate changes and red lines on drawings and inform the designer to execute these changes.</p> <p>§ Provide training to the mold and process workshop area on failure analysis, procedures, and systems.</p> <p>§ Review new projects coming to the plant with the launch team, including documentation and process tracking during the</p> <p>plant&apos;s launch phase.</p> <p>§ Work with the engineering team on FMEA, projects, and launches to optimize and improve the molding process.</p> <p>§ Provide information and documentation for the activation of plastic injection molds in systems such as SAP, Hydra, etc., for</p> <p>their production and maintenance.</p> <p>§ Participate in the development and maintenance of PFMEAS with the multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>§ Participate in the development of Control Plans.</p> <p>§ Participate in the plant&apos;s Continuous Improvement Programs.</p> <p>§ Analyze customer specifications.</p> <p>§ Support in analyzing tool and equipment capacities for new part numbers and changes in quoted volumes.</p> <p>§ Support the designer in controlling 2D and 3D drawings.</p> <p>§ Conduct product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement.</p> <p>§ Provide support for administration, set up, and layouts in the mold workshop.</p> <p>§ Responsible for the design and maintenance of plastic injection molds.</p> <p>§ Responsible for participating in the development of new products and engineering changes for molds, ensuring compliance</p> <p>with engineering standards and TE.</p> <p>§ Implement actions to reduce environmental impact and activities to comply with the ISO14001 standard.</p> <p>§ Authority to stop a process that has the potential to harm the environment or is out of legal environmental compliance.</p> <p>§ Support in analyzing tool and equipment capacities for new part numbers and changes in quoted Mechatronics Engineering / Or related field</li> <li>Profesional experiences</li> <li>5-10 years in a similar position, minimum</li> <li>Personnel management skills</li> <li>Knowledge and Skills</li> <li>Proficient in design software (CAD) such as Creo (Pro-E), SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, AutoCAD, CATIA, preferably.</li> <li>Proficient in simulation software (CAE) for plastic filling, such as Moldflow, Autodesk Moldflow, (ANSYS).</li> <li>RJG MM1 certified or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Good knowledge of tool manufacturing, tool steel application/selection, heat treatment, and plating/coating.</li> <li>Strong understanding of polymer technology, particularly engineering-grade resins.</li> <li>Knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN (TEOA) principles.</li> <li>Knowledge of geometric tolerances.</li> <li>Good project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Understanding of practices, terminology, and tolerances associated with manufacturing, machining, grinding, wire EDM, etc. </li> <li>Management and coaching in root cause problem-solving (8Ds). § Availability to travel (50% of the time). </li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. </li> <li>Knowledge of SAP. </li> <li>Ability to exercise effective leadership.</li> <li> Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (85%).</li> <li>Applicable knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 14001
