If necessary, make adjustments to reported production</li> <li>Assist in changeovers and setups.</li> <li>Training all associates on duties and responsibilities with all job classifications. This would include any new equipment such as cameras, auxiliary equipment, as well as new procedures</li> <li>Lead Daily G.O. Meeting</li> <li>Participate and lead continuous improvement initiatives through TEOA</li> <li>Attention to 5S, Safety Standards and fair, firm and consistent enforcement of company and plant policies and procedures</li> <li>Inspect molded product using dial calipers, micrometers, and hard gaging as prescribed by the quality inspection plan.</li> <li>Complete Weekly Preventative Maintenance tasks for assigned equipment and closing of Action Items found during audits</li> <li>Must be able to produce a high volume of quality product while achieving strong customer demands and aggressive due dates. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledgeable on cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) for the Medical Industry is a plus.</li> <li>Proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve production and quality objectives is necessary.</li> <li>Must be able to read English, perform basic arithmetic calculations and work with alpha/numeric part numbers.</li> <li>Blue print reading skills will enhance future job progression.</li> <li>Must be able to understand and read measuring devices such as a ruler, micrometer, dial indicator, and ohm meter.</li> <li>Associates must be able to identify an acceptable part as well as a defective part</li> </ul> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What your background should look like</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Must successfully complete print reading and demonstrate measuring skills.</li> <li>Must successfully pass Bennett Mechanical Testing.</li> <li>Attention to 5S+1 and teamwork is required.</li> <li>Good eye to hand coordination and hand dexterity required.</li> <li>Patience for fine visual inspection using a microscope is also required.</li> <li>Mature interpersonal skills to interact as part of a team is desirable. </li> <li>Must be able to maintain focus since the work is repetitious.</li> <li>Must be able to learn multiple tasks within a work area allowing one to rotate through the various stations</li> <li>Must develop an understanding of the molding process to minimize scrap.</li> <li>Knowledgeable in basic math skills required.</li> <li> <p><u>Physical Requirements</u></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Must be able to lift and carry a minimum weight of 14 lbs</li> <li>Must be able to push a foot pedal with 10 lbs of peak force</li> <li>Constant handling of small parts is required.</li> <li>Frequent extending hands and arms between knees and shoulder level</li> <li>Will be required to pick up parts frequently with hands and perform fine finger manipulations</li> <li>Constant sitting with brief standing / walking</li> <li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (@ 20 inches or less) for small objects and ability to adjust focus</li> </ul> </li> <li>HS Diploma or GED required</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Competencies</b></H2> </div><div><div>Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork</div></div></div></div><p><strong>ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY</strong></p> <p>TE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
