Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Priory Melton Place has an opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our team who is qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Melton Place, in Melton Mowbray, is a community-facing facility, which provides an alternative to a hospital setting, whilst still having the expertise to support those with complex and enduring mental health needs.
Our new specialist residential mental health service provides 24 hour nursing care for males and females aged 18 years and above, who may also have a secondary diagnosis of a learning disability.
Person Specification
Qualification Essential
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care. Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality nursing practice.
Desirable
Previous experience in a mental health or learning disabilities setting Experience working within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and safeguarding practices.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
