About this role
The HPLC Analyst is responsible for performing analytical testing of food and food-related samples using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The role involves sample preparation, instrument operation, method execution, data analysis, documentation, and compliance with laboratory quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of food, beverage, and related samples using HPLC.Conduct sample preparation, extraction, and cleanup procedures as per validated test methods.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC systems and associated laboratory equipment.Analyze chromatographic data and ensure accuracy, precision, and compliance with specifications.Prepare and review analytical reports, test results, and laboratory records.Participate in method validation, verification, and measurement uncertainty studies.Perform routine calibration and performance checks of instruments.Ensure compliance with laboratory quality systems, including ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience:
1–3 years of hands-on experience in HPLC analysis within a food testing laboratory.
