SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
We are looking for a strong Data Architect with deep expertise in SSIS, SQL Server, Azure modernization, and real-time data streaming. The role will be responsible for leading data engineering initiatives, modernizing legacy ETL platforms, and designing scalable cloud-native data solutions.
Lead the design, development, and optimization of SSIS packages, SQL Server stored procedures, complex queries, data models, and ETL workflows for enterprise-scale applications.Drive modernization of legacy data platforms by migrating or re-engineering SSIS/SQL-based solutions to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hubs, and related Azure services.Architect and implement real-time and near-real-time streaming data pipelines using Azure streaming technologies, ensuring high performance, reliability, monitoring, and fault tolerance.Provide technical leadership to the development team by reviewing designs, guiding implementation, enforcing best practices, and ensuring code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, estimate effort, plan delivery, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.Own technical problem-solving for production issues, performance bottlenecks, data quality challenges, and platform modernization risks, while mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement.Technology skills:
