We have an opening for an Analytical Chemist at the Analyst level:
Perform hands-on laboratory work with limited supervisionInterpret analytical data from a variety of techniques (including FT-IR, NMR, GC-MS and/or LC-MS)Write basic reports which includes methodology, conclusions and supporting analytical dataComfortable working within a fast-paced environment under firm deadlinesExhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlinesMaintain analytical instrumentation and troubleshoot problems when necessaryAuthor standard operating procedures and demonstrate the ability to follow proceduresCollaborate effectively in a team environment EDUCATION
B.S. in Chemistry with good understanding of theory and related techniques and related operations is required.Experience with MS 365 (e.g., Word, Excel) and basic computer systemsEXPERIENCE
1-2 years of industrial experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge with sample preparation and data interpretation. Direct experience with chromatography techniques (e.g., GC/FID, GC/MS, HPLC/UV) is preferred. Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
