About this role
The Analytical Chemist is responsible for performing and supporting pharmaceutical analytical testing. This role serves as the primary analyst for metals impurity testing by ICP-MS and contributes to method development, validation, and routine sample analysis. The position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to GxP laboratory quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary analyst for elemental impurity testing by ICP-MS, including sample preparation, analysis, data review, troubleshooting, and reporting.Perform LC (Liquid Chromatography) analyses for method development, method optimization, validation activities, and routine sample testing.Provide additional analytical testing support services using standard analytical and characterization techniques (GC, IR, KF, etc.) when requested.Responsible for accurate and real-time documentation and data entryProvide backup support to ensure on time testing servicesProvide customer service and exhibit customer interface skillsEnsure activities are performed according to the appropriate SOP or test method Desired skills:
Skilled in analytical testing instrumentation, ICP-MS, and LCKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, instrument software applications and laboratory management software systemsStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral, interpersonal and written) skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesQualifications:
