Logo Maintec Join the future tech force Steel Fabricator - Shipyards Barendrecht Metallurgy Vocational 550 - 650 Medior (3 - 5 years of work experience) Precision steel fabrication is at the heart of every vessel. We're looking for skilled Steel Fabricators to manufacture and assemble small steel constructions for modern Dutch shipyards, where quality and craftsmanship are essential. What are you going to do? As a Steel Fabricator in a Dutch shipyard, you will fabricate, assemble, and finish small steel constructions on board luxury yachts and other vessels. Working from technical drawings, you'll produce high-quality steel components while ensuring precision, safety, and craftsmanship. Your main tasks include: - Fabricating and assembling small steel constructions, supports, brackets, and foundations - TIG welding and finishing fabricated steel components on board - Measuring, cutting, fitting, and preparing steel materials according to technical drawings - Performing tack welding to position components before final welding - Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently - Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions - Following shipyard safety procedures and quality standards What can you expect from us?
