Support decision-making through clear analyses, risk assessment, and practical recommendations. Core responsibilities - Advise on Dutch tax matters (e.g., income tax, corporate tax, VAT), including planning and compliance. - Prepare, review, and submit tax returns and related documentation; ensure deadlines are met. - Interpret tax legislation and translate changes into actionable guidance for stakeholders. - Identify fiscal risks and opportunities; propose mitigation measures and optimizations. - Support audits, tax authority correspondence, and objection/appeal processes where applicable. - Collaborate with finance, legal, payroll, and external advisors to align fiscal positions. - Maintain accurate records and contribute to process improvement and standardization. Required skills and qualifications - Tax expertise: Strong knowledge of Dutch tax law and compliance requirements. - Analytical ability: Able to assess complex cases, model impacts, and document conclusions. - Communication: Explain fiscal topics clearly to non-specialists; write concise memos. - Accuracy: High attention to detail and quality control. - Stakeholder management: Coordinate inputs and manage priorities across teams. - Tools: Comfortable with spreadsheets and tax/finance systems; strong documentation discipline.
