Core responsibilities - Plan and execute IT audits across infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and third-party providers. - Assess control design and operating effectiveness for access management, change management, incident response, backups, and disaster recovery. - Test compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, PCI DSS, GDPR) as applicable. - Perform risk assessments, identify control gaps, and document audit evidence, findings, and recommendations. - Partner with IT and business stakeholders to agree on remediation plans, timelines, and ownership. - Track corrective actions to closure and validate remediation effectiveness. - Prepare clear audit reports for leadership and support internal/external audit coordination. Required skills and qualifications - Experience in IT audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, or internal controls. - Knowledge of audit frameworks and control standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL). - Ability to evaluate identity and access management, SDLC/change controls, logging/monitoring, and vendor risk. - Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills; ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise systems is preferred. - Relevant certifications preferred: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA.
