About this role
We are looking for an experienced Conventional Turner (m/f) who can work independently, has technical insight and takes pride in producing high-quality work. What will you do? - Carrying out machining operations on a conventional lathe - Manufacture of hydraulic cylinder components to high quality standards - Carrying out routine maintenance on the machine - Performance of general production tasks What are we looking for? - Able to read drawings - A good understanding of how the various machines and materials work - Has a good command of various measurement techniques and is able to use measuring instruments. - Works meticulously and in a structured manner. - Enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team, meticulous, and flexible What do we offer? - One-year contract with the prospect of a permanent role - Day shift - 37.5 hours per week - Salary and days off in accordance with the Metal & Engineering Collective Agreement - 25 days' holiday with the option of up to 8 extra days - Summer and winter bonuses - Training and development opportunities - A clean and safe workplace with good equipment Fancy applying?
