Position: Accountant Primary duties and responsibilities:Reporting • Prepare quarterly / annual Luxembourg tier entity consolidation reporting packs • Prepare quarterly / annual Luxembourg AIFM reporting packs • Prepare annual Luxembourg tier entity statutory financial statements (Lux GAAP) • Assist in the preparation of monthly liquidity reports for the Fund(s) • Assist in the preparation of monthly liquidity reports for the AIFM General Ledger • Review of accounting entries and data entry for Luxembourg tier entities • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations • Maintain general ledger chart of accounts for entities to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency • Prepare and reconcile inter-company accounts • Review payment entries for all Lux entities for costs, taxes and intercompany accounts • Run quarter end closing procedures • Reconcile VAT returns to corresponding GL entries Controlling at Real Estate investment level • Control through analytical review the quarterly accounting data delivery from the local accountant at Real Estate investment level (mainly shopping centers) • Prepare IFRS adjustments to the local GAAP (e.g. German, Polish, Italian GAAP) for the review by the Finance Manager before consideration in the consolidation workflow. Audits • Prepare and submit audit work-papers to auditors within the required time frame • Notify auditors of potential audit issues, material transactions which occurred during fiscal • year, and any subsequent events. • Answer questions and resolve any issues that may arise • Prepare information and promptly answer queries for audits, as needed Skills: • Ability to operate personal computer MS Office: - Word, Excel, Power Point, Access & Visio, Adobe Acrobat • Ability to read and interpret a variety of contracts, manuals, journals, periodicals, abstracts and financial reports • Fluent in English is mandatory and in German an advantage, any additional language will be considered as an asset • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, share insights, and seek feedback to enhance team performance Work Experience: • 2 - 3 years of experience in industry with an international outlook or a public accounting firm • Real estate experience is preferred although not a strict requirement Education Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university or equivalent
