Due to further growth of the Wielsbeke site, we are looking for a Malfunction Technician curative maintenance in 2 shifts. As a technician, you are the key to quickly and efficiently solving technical malfunctions on our fully automated machinery. Your goal? Ensure smooth operation and minimise downtime. Be an example in adhering to prescribed guidelines and procedures for a safe, environmentally conscious, and orderly working environment. Dive deep into mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve faults. Perform repairs and replace defective parts to keep our machines in top condition. Work closely with our operations teams and your technical colleagues to minimise breakdowns and maximise efficiency. Keep fault reports in our maintenance software (Ultimo) to gain insight and keep improving. Share your expertise and advise on possible improvements to prevent repeat breakdowns. You will mentor new employees to help them grow in their roles You will work in our Maintenance department, reporting to your Technical Team Leader. You have a technical education or equivalent experience You have several years of experience as a technician and a passion for technology You have knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems You have a proactive attitude You have logical insight and good problem-solving skills, allowing you to work independently You are a team player who contributes to smooth communication and joint success You speak Dutch or French or English and are willing to understand other language colleagues You are willing to work in a 2-shift regime
