For our client in the OSTEND region, we are looking for a MECHANICAL TESTER/FAULT FINDER.
Our client is an international player in high-tech solutions for the defence industry. The company develops autonomous underwater drones that detect, identify, and neutralise naval mines.
As a MECHANICAL TESTER/FAULT FINDER in the OSTEND region, your responsibilities include:
Checking the functionality of electronic assemblies on underwater drones;Detecting faults and defects at cable and PCB level;Identifying the root causes of faults and contributing to effective solutions;Accurately updating production files and test reports;Contributing ideas for improvements within the assembly process;Ensuring the quality and reliability of underwater drone systems. As a MECHANICAL TESTER/FAULT FINDER in the Ostend region, you recognise yourself in the following profile:
You have a technical education in mechanics, electromechanics, shipbuilding or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience;You are patient and analytical, with a strong eye for detail when troubleshooting;You are interested in precision assembly work, such as cabling;You have broad technical and mechanical knowledge and are eager to continue developing your skills;You are able to read and interpret technical drawings;You work accurately and pay close attention to detail;You speak Dutch OR English OR French;
