Main duties of the job As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing an engaging activities plan, both internally and with external resources, as well as planning events like summer BBQs and Christmas parties for the residents. You will be in constant communication with the residents to understand their preferences and bring their desired activities to life. The role also involves supporting the clients' mobility and independence through activities such as Zumba, ballroom dancing, and balloon tennis.

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work This is an Activities Coordinator role at 13 hours per week working from 10.30am to 5pm which includes alternative weekends as the rota requires Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator within a care home setting is required for this role along with competent computer literacy skillsA day in the life of an Activities Coordinator
Companionship- providing support, companionship, communication and engagement with residents Creating activities- you will be in charge of designing an engaging activities plan both internally and with external resources. Event planning our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents. Resident interaction you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition. External communications as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents. Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis. Social activities- trips out, social engagements and activities within the home for all abilities.About Agincare
