About this role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our McCauley Fairgreen Pharmacy.
This is a 32-hour (3/4-day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 6p.m. Monday to Wednesday, 9a.m. to 8p.m. thursday to Friday, 9a.m. to 7p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6p.m.on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support, 1 Relief, and 5 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role
• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail. • To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner. • Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements. • Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims. • Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
Requirements:
• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply. • Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage). • IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
