Job Description:
Main Responsibilities
• Assist radiologists during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures (e.g., fluoroscopy, angiography, biopsies, drainage, and contrast studies), ensuring patient safety, aseptic practice, smooth workflow, and effective clinical coordination with radiographers. • Assess, prepare, and support patients before imaging procedures through comprehensive history-taking, vital signs assessment, allergy screening, IV cannulation, medication and contrast preparation, ensuring informed consent, and clear patient education. • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation and contrast reaction surveillance, post-procedure recovery, escalation of concerns to clinicians, and initiation of emergency response when required. • Document and maintain accurate patient records including vital signs, medication and contrast administration, DDA tracking, procedure notes, post-monitoring observations, and shift handover details in compliance with legal, hospital, and accreditation standards. • Administer medications and contrast agents through approved routes (oral, IV, rectal) in accordance with hospital protocols, radiation safety requirements, and clinical best practices. • Ensure proper handling and management of medications, consumables, and IV supplies, including stock rotation, temperature monitoring, documentation, and safe disposal. • Maintain emergency readiness by checking resuscitation equipment, contrast carts, oxygen systems, suction devices, and ensuring all emergency resources are functional at all times. • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and support service • Provide patient and caregiver education regarding procedures, preparation steps, post-care instructions, and follow-up requirements.

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing. • Passed LJM and Registered Nurse (RN) is mandatory • Basic Life Supports (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications is an advantage
Knowledge and Experiences:
• State Registered Nurse: Fresh graduates accepted; 1 year hospital experience preferred. • Senior State Registered Nurse: Minimum 3 years nursing experience; 1–2 years in Imaging/ER/ICU/OT preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Special skills required
• Competent in IV insertion, patient assessment, and the safe administration of contrast agents and medications for imaging procedures. • Strong knowledge of radiology procedures (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and angiography) and adherence to radiation safety protocols for patients and staff. • Skilled in sedation care, pain management, and continuous monitoring during procedures, including recognition, escalation, and early management of complications or adverse reactions. • Ability to perform emergency response and clinical decision-making during imaging workflows to ensure patient safety. • Demonstrates excellent communication, documentation accuracy, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities to support smooth clinical operations and safe patient care
