Job Description:
Strategic Leadership:
• Formulate and execute the strategic vision for SCPD in alignment with KPJU’s institutional objectives. • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration across faculties and with external industry partners.
Programme Development & Oversight:
• Lead the design and implementation of CPD programmes in Clinical & Life Health Sciences, Leadership & Management, and Technology & Digital Transformation. • Ensure all offerings align with current professional standards and meet CPD accreditation requirements
Industry Engagement & Partnerships:
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, industry leaders, and regulatory authorities. • Co-develop and oversee joint certification programmes with external institutions to enhance credibility and reach.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Uphold high academic and operational standards in programme delivery. • Oversee certification issuance and ensure compliance with professional licensing requirements.
Team Development & Management:
• Recruit, support, and manage a diverse team of educators, programme coordinators, and administrative personnel. • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Marketing & Outreach:
• Drive the visibility and appeal of SCPD programmes through strategic marketing and outreach efforts. • Represent KPJU in national and international conferences and forums relating to professional development.
Job Requirement:
Education
• Master’s degree in Education, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field. • Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) is highly desirable, particularly in a discipline relevant to adult education, healthcare, or professional development.
Knowledge and Experience
• Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in academic leadership, continuing education, or healthcare professional development. In-depth understanding of CPD frameworks, accreditation processes, and the needs of clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals. • Proven ability to establish partnerships with regulatory bodies, professional organisations, and industry stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to lead academic and operational initiatives. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. • Competent in managing multi-disciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
Technical Skills Required
• Proficiency in digital learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual delivery tools. • Understanding of data analytics in programme evaluation and decision-making. • Familiarity with instructional design for adult learning and professional training.
Special Skills Required
• Experience in designing and delivering non-MQA programmes tailored for working professionals. • Skilled in negotiating and managing institutional partnerships and joint certifications. • Ability to align programme outcomes with national licensing and CPD point requirements across multiple regulatory bodies.
