Get to Know the Role
The Store Operations Leader is responsible for managing the daily operations of dark stores supporting online grocery order fulfillment. This role owns operational excellence across multiple stores, ensuring high service levels, cost efficiency, inventory accuracy, and strong team performance while meeting key operational KPIs.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Lead end to end daily operations of dark stores, including picking, packing, dispatch, and last-mile handoverEnsure compliance with operational SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standardsMaintain consistent execution of processes to meet customer delivery SLAsManage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and productivity optimizationFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementEnsure accurate inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and cycle countsCoordinate with supply chain, procurement, and category teams to ensure optimal stock availabilityMinimize inventory loss, waste, and expirySupport new dark store launches, process rollouts, and operational pilots What Essential Skills You Will Need
Strong operational execution and problem-solving skillsAnalyze performance data, identify gaps, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsData-driven mindset with the ability to interpret dashboards and KPIsHigh ownership, resilience, and attention to detailBachelor's degree in any major5+ years of experience in conventional retail supermarket and/or mini-market operations (preferred) Life at Grab
