Workshop Recruitment is working with a well-established, family-run recycling business looking to add a reliable 360 Machine Operator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator or someone with experience operating small plant machinery looking to develop within the waste and recycling industry.
The successful 360 Machine Operator will support daily recycling operations, ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently while helping the site meet production targets. Free accommodation is available, alongside regular overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x during the week and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Operate 360 machinery and associated plant safely and efficientlyFeed processing plant and load HGVsSupport waste sorting and recycling operationsCarry out pre-sorting duties to maximise throughputReport machinery defects and maintenance issues promptlyWork closely with Supervisors and site teams dailyFollow all Health & Safety procedures at all timesAssist with incident reporting and investigations when required Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a 360 Machine Operator or operating small plant machineryRelevant plant tickets or machinery certifications preferredKnowledge of waste and recycling operationsFull UK driving licenceStrong awareness of site safety and environmental standardsPositive attitude with willingness to support team membersGood communication and teamwork skillsRight to work in the UK is essential What’s on Offer
