At Müller, we’re passionate about delivering quality products while creating a sustainable future. As our Procurement Category Manager for CapEx & Facilities, you’ll lead a complex spend area, partnering closely with business stakeholders to shape how we invest, innovate and grow.
What you’ll be doing
Leading a complex CapEx and facilities spend area across capital projects, production equipment and engineering services, managing £100m of external spendCreating and delivering category strategies aligned to business and group prioritiesBuilding strong partnerships with engineering and senior stakeholders to drive specification engagement and complianceProviding market insight, data analysis and recommendations to support planning and decision makingManaging suppliers through effective relationship strategies to deliver against KPIs and unlock long-term valueSupporting strategic projects including major investments and new product launchesDriving continuous improvement and efficiency across sourcing activities and processes What we’re looking for
Proven procurement experience in CapEx, engineering or technical categoriesStrong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge to drive valueConfident stakeholder manager, able to communicate and present effectively at all levelsAbility to turn strategy into action and deliver sourcing activity at paceStrong data analysis and insight capabilitySolid project management skills across complex sourcing eventsKnowledge of procurement processes and controls, ideally with CIPS L5/6 qualification What you’ll receive
