The Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team is the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapid growth of AWS business and customers 24x7. We commit to maintain the critical facility infrastructure of AWS and ensure the standards for operational performance in the areas of safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency and cost. The DCEO Team is seeking individuals who are motivated, self-starters, eager to learn, passionate and committed to join us. As part of the Infrastructure Operations Team, you will have the chance to work on the most advanced technologies in a dynamic environment. Key job responsibilities - Rotating shift work is required to maintain 24/7 operations coverage - Monitor and operate electrical and mechanical equipment in the data center - Perform routine rounds and record daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment (e.g. temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.). - Respond to emergencies and perform troubleshooting to resolve facility equipment issues. - Arrange and supervise contractors and vendors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment, and follow up on maintenance records accordingly - Participate in emergency drills and support facility emergency response per established protocols - Participate in the on-call rotation and report to site for emergencies as required 主要職責： - 需輪班工作以維持24/7的運作 - 監控及操作數據中心內的電氣與機械設備 - 進行每日例行巡檢，記錄所有機械及電氣設備的運行數據（如溫度、電壓、電流等） - 響應緊急事件，並進行故障排除以解決設施設備問題 - 安排及監督承辦商和供應商，確保所有設施設備的正常運作及維護，並相應跟進維護記錄 - 參與緊急演習，並按既定程序支援設施緊急應變 - 參與待命輪值，並按需到場處理緊急事件 A day in the life Also expected from the EOT is the ability to execute small-to-medium impacting projects from conception to completion. These projects involve moderate amounts of independent work as well as collaboration with external support groups including engineering, automation, processing, and finance in controlled environments. The EOT will be tasked with creating and delivering key milestones, obtaining and tracking quotes for all necessary costs, and documenting project results.
