About this role
We are looking for Medical Clinic Receptionists.
The clinic is located at Jane St. and Sheppard Ave. in North York.
Full-Time and Part-Time available.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and direct patients in an efficient and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and coordinate schedules to accommodate urgent appointments and initial triaging of patients
- Assist with patient check-ins, collect, and update patients? demographic information and health insurance information, and ensure information in the electronic record is accurate and up-to-date
- Scan appropriate documents into EMR
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing, filing, copying, faxing, and mailing
- Helping with stocking and cleaning examination rooms/clinic
- Other duties as required
Experience and skills:
- Able to work independently
- Fluency in Vietnamese or Korean would be an asset
- Previous experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in a medical office in Canada
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinic front desk operations
- Knowledge of phone systems and handling patient inquiries efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Education:
- Secondary (High) School Diploma or equivalent required
