Gino's Coffee House: Now Hiring a Line Cook / Sandwich Maker
Osoyoos, BC · $19 to $23/hour (depending on experience) · Full or part time
Gino's isn't just a coffee house. It's where our community comes together.
We're a family run spot built on scratch baking, great food, and wonderful people, and we're looking for a Line Cook / Sandwich Maker to join our kitchen and grow with us.
Fair warning: it's incredibly fast paced, we're loud and lively, fun mom and daughter team who love a good laugh and work ethic. We like to keep things moving "there's always something to do and learn" (skills are transferable) DONT worry if it's a lot at first. We're here to guide you, train you, and teach you the Gino's way. You'll be working alongside a crew that has been with us for three years, and we want you to fit right in, have fun with us, bring your confidence, and never be afraid to ask lots of questions.
What you'll do
- Help prepare our breakfast and sandwich menu from open to close, including eggs, sandwiches, and everything in between, all made fresh
- Read tickets from our Clover system
- Run food and help keep orders moving smoothly through the morning
- Handle several tickets at once while keeping the quality high
- Keep busy and stay productive, because there's always something to do
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and ready to go
What we're looking for
-Someone who works with a good pace and stays steady when it gets busy
- Comfortable reading tickets and using a POS, with Clover experience as a bonus, though we're happy to train
- A natural multitasker who enjoys a lively kitchen
- Confidence and a willingness to learn, knowing we're here to guide and teach you the Gino's way
- A positive, friendly attitude and a genuine team spirit
- Someone who loves to ask lots of questions and isn't afraid to jump in
- Reliable and kind, and proud of the food that goes out
