About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas. Package take-out food. Portion and wrap foods. Prepare, heat and finish simple food items. Serve customers at counters or buffet tables. Take customers' orders. Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
