Print Production Clerk
Be part of a fast-moving print production environment where every day brings a variety of projects and responsibilities. This on-site opportunity combines digital printing, finishing operations, customer interaction, quality control, and shipping activities. Work in a collaborative and casual setting while contributing to the delivery of high-quality printed materials and exceptional service.
What is in it for you:
? Hourly salary of $20.24.
? 12-month contract.
? Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
? Weekday schedule 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
? On-site work in a dynamic environment.
? Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities:
? Operate digital print equipment.
? Operate standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, bindery equipment, laminating equipment, and drills.
? Serve as the point of contact for customer requests, provide estimates, schedule work, and track production.
? Perform basic quality inspections before, during, and after each production run.
? Track and store jobs according to customer requirements for future reuse.
? Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes.
? Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products.
? Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels.
? Resolve basic issues related to production, delivery, and output requirements.
What you will need to succeed:
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Post-secondary technology training or related experience preferred.
? 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
? Ability and willingness to learn and develop skills.
? Strong attention to detail.
? Good verbal and written communication skills.
? Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other relevant software.
? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
? Ability to remain on your feet for up to 80% of the workday.
