*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and assisting with product sales in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
*Duties*
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs * Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Maintain store displays and shelves to ensure attractive and organized presentation of products * Provide product knowledge related to paint types and assistance with choosing the perfect paint colour, wallpaper or window coverings * Support inventory management through stock replenishment and organization * Assist customers with bringing orders out to their vehicles if necessary * Ensure a clean and organized sales floor, adhering to safety standards * Engage with customers to promote products and any upcoming events * Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred * Strong communication skills in English * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction * Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends * must be able to work alone when necessary or with a team member * must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
