*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy machinery including backhoe, skid steer, roller, excavator, and loader. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. The Heavy Equipment Operator will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency while adhering to all safety regulations.
*Responsibilities*
* Operate heavy equipment such as, excavators, loaders, skid steers, backhoe and loader with precision and safety in mind. * Load and unload freight using appropriate machinery, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or accidents. * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. * Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement as needed for various projects. * Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk of accidents or injuries on-site. * Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively. * Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, inspections, and maintenance activities.
*Skills*
* Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, or similar equipment. * Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. * Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety compliance at all times. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. * Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Pay: $28.32-$32.33 per hour
