*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Planner to coordinate and execute a variety of events, including corporate retreats, Award Ceremonies, fundraisers and more! We started as Freelance event planners and the demand has gotten so big that we need to grow our team to keep up with the requests.
We have recently gone through a rebrand that will allow us to grow and we are looking for some people to be the first members of our team.
This is primarily a work from home position, but some on site work will be required, especially during event days.

*Duties*
* Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for each event * Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth execution * Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers * Manage all aspects of event setup, including logistics, seating arrangements, and décor * Oversee event operations on the day-of to ensure seamless delivery * Upsell additional services or packages to enhance client satisfaction and revenue * Negotiate contracts with vendors and venue staff to secure favorable terms * Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Implement marketing strategies to promote events and attract target audiences * Maintain detailed records of event details, budgets, and client communications
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or related fields such as restaurant or hotel management * Strong marketing skills with the ability to promote events effectively * Excellent guest services and customer service skills to ensure positive experiences * Effective negotiation skills for vendor contracts and partnerships * Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple events simultaneously * Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for event planning projects * Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members * Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances * Prior experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus

Pay: $17.20-$22.50 per hour
