About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on *Medical Office Assistant* to support the daily operations of our Crowfoot Pinnacle Clinic location. This role is ideal for a strong MOA who leads by example?actively participating in *patient care, rooming, and clinical support*, while delivering *exceptional customer service* and fostering a positive team environment.

The successful candidate will prioritize being present, ensuring smooth patient flow, supporting Physicians, and maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism in every patient interaction.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Room patients efficiently, professionally, and with a strong focus on patient comfort and experience * Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information * Complete patient intake, update medical histories, and maintain accurate EMR records * Perform urine dips and collect patient samples within scope of practice * Prepare, label, and coordinate laboratory samples and requisitions * Assist physicians during procedures as required * Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked, clean, and prepared for each patient * Perform thorough room turnover in accordance with IPAC standards * Actively manage patient flow to minimize wait times and improve overall clinic efficiency * Support front desk operations, including calls, bookings, check-ins, and documentation * Address patient questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care * Maintain accurate and complete patient charts and documentation * Maintain clear and timely communication with leadership * Deliver and model *exceptional customer service in every patient interaction* * Ensure a welcoming, professional, and compassionate clinic environment * Actively resolve patient concerns and enhance overall patient satisfaction * Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements * Maintain Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) standards * Contribute to proper sterilization, documentation, and sample handling * Maintain audit-ready records and accurate documentation * Monitor and manage clinical and office supply levels * Ensure exam rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked * Remove expired supplies and maintain equipment logs * Support a safe, and professional clinic environment
