Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance technology/technician. Aircraft powerplant technology/technician. Avionics maintenance technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Repair and maintenance services. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Monitor department's performance. Plan and organize daily operations. Plan for changes to schedules and policies. Prepare reports for senior management. Recruit staff. Supervise staff. Train staff. Manage finances or budget. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Negotiate for services and preferential rates. Supervise maintenance and repair services. Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services.
