Role Summary
Our client is a performance-driven DTC ecommerce company focused on scaling revenue through high-converting funnels and data-backed marketing systems. They specialize in aggressive growth strategies across paid media and conversion optimization. They are looking for a Direct Response Copywriter to own and execute prelander and presale strategy that drives measurable revenue impact.
ResponsibilitiesPrelander & Presale DevelopmentWrite high-converting prelanders designed to warm top-of-funnel trafficBuild long-form presale pages that address objections and drive belief shiftsDevelop advertorials, comparison pages, authority pages, and educational funnelsCreate structured narrative flows aligned with creative angles and media buying strategy
Conversion Strategy & OptimizationAlign messaging across funnel stages (TOF / MOF / BOF)Translate customer awareness levels into targeted copy structuresUse GA4 insights, CRO data, and performance metrics to refine messagingImprove key metrics such as bounce rate, scroll depth, and CVR
Testing & IterationDevelop multiple copy angles based on creative briefsContinuously iterate based on A/B testing resultsOptimize hooks, headlines, CTA placement, and content flowPartner with CRO teams to improve page structure and performance
Cross-Functional CollaborationExecute based on direction from Creative Director and Head of EcomAlign messaging with brand positioning and growth strategyTranslate performance data into actionable copy improvementsContribute to quarterly creative and funnel strategy planningRequirements
Proven experience writing prelanders and presale pages that generated significant revenue (7-figure+ preferred)Strong understanding of direct response psychology and buyer behaviorSolid background in DTC ecommerce environmentsExperience creating advertorial-style funnels and conversion-focused pagesAbility to write both long-form and short-form high-converting copyComfortable working in a data-driven, performance-focused environmentStrong understanding of funnel structure and customer journey
