Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads.
