About the Role Seeking a compassionate, dependable Personal Care Worker to support a disabled adult with daily routines, mobility, meal prep, and companionship in a private home. Ideal for someone who values meaningful oneonone care and predictable routines. Job Duties Personal Hygiene: Bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving; toileting and incontinence care; safe mobility and transfers. Meal Preparation: Light breakfast and lunch; feeding support; safe food handling. Light Housekeeping: Cleaning living areas, bedroom, bathroom; light laundry; maintaining a safe environment. Companionship: Conversation, social interaction, emotional support; noonhour socialization. Driving & Errands: Appointments, outings, errands; safe entry/exit from vehicle. Medication Support: Reminders and organizing daily pills (no administration). Bedtime Routine: Evening hygiene, changing into sleepwear, ensuring comfort and safety. Skills & Abilities Personal care skills (bathing, dressing, grooming). Safe lifting and transfer skills. Housekeeping skills (cleaning, laundry, maintaining safety). Meal preparation and safe foodhandling skills. Ability to follow care plans and routines. Strong communication and problemsolving skills. Ability to recognize and respond to client needs; reliable and patient. Work Setting Private home; adult client with disabilities; dogs present. Conditions of Employment Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle. Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check. First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
