Prevention Worker Full-Time Permanent QBOW Child & Family Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Prevention Worker to join our team at our Beardy's & Okemasis Cree Nation Sub-Office. As a Prevention Worker, you will work directly with Indigenous children, youth, and families to deliver culturally grounded, community-based prevention programming that strengthens family wellbeing, promotes healthy relationships, and supports family preservation and reunification. Responsibilities include developing and facilitating prevention programs, coordinating referrals, providing family supports, maintaining accurate case documentation, and collaborating with community partners, Elders, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Indigenous Social Work, Social Work, Human Justice, or a related human services field, along with experience working with Indigenous children, youth, and families. A strong understanding of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based practice is essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
