POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager for our Moorefield, Ontario facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and infrastructure. The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance team, oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and ensure adherence to all regulatory, environmental, and quality compliance requirements. As an active member of the Plant Operations Committee, you will contribute to plant strategy, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Development:
• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and direction to the maintenance team. • Foster a positive, safety-focused, and collaborative work culture that promotes accountability and continuous improvement. • Manage team performance by conducting regular reviews, providing feedback, and partnering with Human Resources on training, succession planning, and employee relations. • Ensure effective departmental communication through daily meetings and shift handovers. Maintenance Operations:
• Develop and execute weekly and monthly maintenance schedules to optimize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and control costs. • Manage the preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including work order backlog and performance tracking, using the site's CMMS (e.g., Maintenance Connect). • <span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sa
