We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling or the food industry. * Weekend availability is required (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) * Early morning shifts
*Duties*
* Greet guests warmly and assist with their breakfast needs * Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards, including food presentation and portion control * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations * Replenish food supplies and ensure all items are stocked throughout service hours * Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling and storage of food products * Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service area before and after shifts * Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy hours
*Skills*
* Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is preferred * Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor * Experience in serving, food preparation, or food handling is advantageous * Knowledge of food safety standards and practices * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation * Barista experience or hospitality background is a plus but not required * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a positive attitude * Valid *Food Handler Certificate* is required. * *Smart Serve Certification* is considered an asset. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. * Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
