*Job Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide care and support to an individual in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety and comfort, and promote independence while maintaining dignity and respect.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting) * Assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support as needed * Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs * Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, organizing) * Offer companionship and emotional support * Monitor and report changes in health or behavior * Accompany client to appointments or outings if required * Maintain a safe and clean living environment
*Job Requirements*
* Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred * Certification in caregiving, Personal Support Worker (PSW), or equivalent is an asset * First Aid and CPR certification preferred * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy personality * Ability to handle physical demands of the job (lifting, assisting mobility) * Vulnerable sector check and Negative TB test results are mandatory
*Work Conditions*
* Live-in position (private room and accommodations provided) * Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed * weekend availability
