We are a local family owned and operated Pharmacy located in downtown Collingwood. Stuart Ellis IDA Pharmacy has been proudly serving the community for over 80 years!
We are looking to hire a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team.
Duties include:
- Operating a cash register, preparing merchandise for purchase, assisting in display of merchandise, greeting customers, preparing prescription orders, products and/or supplies for verification by Pharmacists. Receiving and processing prescriptions. Assisting the Pharmacist.
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to multitask.
- Be flexible, reliable and trustworthy.
- Available to work some evenings and weekends (evenings are until 7pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends)
- Previous Pharmacy Assistant and or retail customer service work experience preferred.
- Non-sterile compounding experience considered an asset
