*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
*Duties*
* Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal sheets according to specifications. * Repair and replace damaged roofs and ensure proper sealing using caulking and other materials. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks. * Read blueprints and follow building plans to meet project requirements. * Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment on-site. * Conduct inspections of roofs to assess damage or wear and recommend solutions. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
*Experience* Candidates should possess prior experience in roofing or related fields such as carpentry or maintenance person services. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, caulking methods, and the use of hand tools is essential. Experience in blueprint reading is a plus, as it will aid in understanding project specifications more effectively. A strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team are crucial for success in this role.
