Assisting with the preservation of traditional knowledge and oral tradition. Assisting classroom teachers with First Nations and Metis knowledge, language, and traditional skills. Teaching traditional and cultural skills such as trapping, fishing, beading, storytelling, and smudging. Teaching cultural life skills to promote mastery, generosity, independence, and belonging. Meeting with at-risk youths. Assisting with parent support groups.
