About this role

*Overview*

We are looking for a reliable, detail- oriented Office Administrator to support day-to-day accounting and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts and reporting as needed.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records. * Process accounts payable, including invoices, payments and customer statements. * Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts to match statements and general ledger accounts. * Assist with GST filings, month-end entries and year- end preparation. * Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation. * Communicate with vendors, customers and internal staff regarding billing or payment questions. * Prepare daily financial updates for Management. * Provide general office and administrative support as needed.

*Qualifications*

* Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred. * Education or training in bookkeeping, accounting or a related field is an asset. * Experience with Sage or similar accounting software is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organizational and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally. * Proficiancy with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and general office software. * Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
