*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Siding Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of siding on residential buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your construction expertise and attention to detail to enhance building exteriors.
*Duties*
* Measure, cut, and install siding materials according to project specifications and blueprints * Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to complete installations efficiently * Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate placement of siding * Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and effectively * Apply caulking around seams and joints to ensure weatherproofing and a finished appearance * Assist with other carpentry or handyman tasks as needed on the job site * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times * Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in siding installation or related construction roles * Proficiency with hand tools and basic carpentry skills * Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately * Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing techniques * Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday * Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures * Prior handyman experience or general construction background is a plus * Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver?s license preferred
