About this role
*Job Summary* Verka Food International Ltd. is currently seeking reliable and hardworking *Warehouse Workers* to support our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments * Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently * Load and unload trucks using manual handling or material handling equipment * Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse * Follow company policies, safety procedures, and health & safety regulations * Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies * Assist with general warehouse duties as required
*Qualifications & Requirements*
* Previous warehouse experience is an asset. * Ability to lift up to *50?70 lbs* on a regular basis * Strong attention to detail and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Forklift certification is an asset * Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
