About this role
*Position Summary*
Provide technical leadership and engineering support for power generation projects, working closely with customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the quotation, design, and project execution process. This role serves as the primary technical resource for generator applications and helps ensure successful project delivery.
*Responsibilities*
· Provide technical guidance and engineering recommendations for generator and power generation projects.
· Review customer specifications, RFQs, drawings, and technical documentation.
· Participate in customer meetings to provide technical presentations and answer engineering questions.
· Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to review technical requirements, resolve engineering issues, and coordinate project execution.
· Review generator drawings, electrical schematics, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
· Support the quotation and sales teams by providing technical solutions and product recommendations.
· Assist with equipment selection, system configuration, and application engineering.
· Support project execution by resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
· Ensure engineering documentation complies with applicable industry standards and customer specifications.
*Qualifications*
· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
· P.Eng. designation is preferred.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the power generation industry.
· Strong knowledge of generator systems and their practical applications.
· Solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical aspects of generator systems.
· Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to participate in customer meetings.
· Experience working directly with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
· Mandarin consider as an asset.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
