Bhasin Building Maintenance Ltd. is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner / Night Cleaner to join our team in Nelson, BC.
This position involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in commercial and residential client sites, including offices, common areas, washrooms, grocery/retail areas, and residential buildings. The position requires evening, night, and early morning availability. We are looking for someone who is reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable following cleaning checklists and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors * Vacuum carpets, rugs, and entrance areas * Clean and disinfect washrooms, sinks, fixtures, mirrors, and other surfaces * Clean offices, corridors, restrooms, staff rooms, public areas, and common areas * Dust and wipe desks, tables, counters, shelves, and other surfaces * Empty garbage and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly * Refill cleaning and washroom supplies as required * Wash windows, glass surfaces, walls, and ceilings when required * Use basic cleaning equipment safely * Follow site cleaning checklists and company procedures * Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to the supervisor * Work independently during evening, night, and early morning shifts * May assist with carpet cleaning and basic floor care when required * Perform other related cleaning duties as required
Requirements:
* No formal education required * Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but training can be provided * Strong attention to detail * Must be reliable and able to work independently * Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures * Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds * Basic English required for workplace safety and reporting * Driver?s licence is an asset because work may be at different client sites
Working hours:
35 to 40 hours per week. Shifts may be scheduled between 9:00 PM and 8:30 AM. Evening, night, early morning, and weekend availability may be required.

$22.00?$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, reliability, availability, and ability to work evening, night, and early morning shifts.
