About this role
*Duties include and are not limited to:*
* working in a certified heavy-duty shop * Inspect tanks and tank trailer systems and components to diagnose and isolate repairs required. B620, CVIP, other provincial standards as necessary. * Repair, adjust, replace parts of truck trailer systems including trailer electrical components, trailer frames, hitches, landing gear assemblies, tires, suspensions and components, hydraulic systems. * May be required to service other specialized repair equipment. * Perform scheduled maintenance service * Advise supervisors on work performed, general trailer condition and future repair requirements. * working in a certified heavy duty shop * working inside tanks and tanker trailers * working at heights * testing tanks * maintenance and repair of valves * maintenance, repair and programming of electronic tank monitoring equipment
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 driver's licenses considered an asset
*The ideal Candidate will possess:*
* Tank Trailer experience (Not required but considered an asset) * Their own tools and toolbox * attention to detail and pride in workmanship * strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment * an understanding of safety and OH&S requirements * ability to perform manual labor * reliable transportation

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
