About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies. Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts. Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
